November 20th is a memorial day. It is a day of remembrance for Zumbi dos Palmares, in a day that ( after years of social exclusion and cultural despise ) the Afro-Brazilian culture comes recognized and valued as a richness and fundamental part of a mixed Brazil.

Zumbi dos Palmares is an historical figure which truly existed and documented in Brazil. He be came, for his attitude, symbol f the balck people resistance in Brazil.
